5 Stars for the exceptional service and lunch buffet we had for your pickleball club. This was a few weeks ago. The food was outstanding and well laid out with several appetizers, main course items, and desserts. Along with a very nice beverage station. All the food was of a Western style with some Vietnamese flair and was continually replenished. The buffet was also well-lit and beautifully presented. The waitstaff was excellent, from the time we entered the lunch area until we left. So, thank you very much. Now, I did want to mention and apologize to the young lady who went around the table to collect the payments. One person felt he did not have to pay, claiming he hadn't eaten anything. And I'm sad to say, our pickleball host didn't think he should pay either and argued with the young lady. After forty years in the resort, restaurant, and wine industry, with twenty-two years in banquets. I have seen my fair share of challenging people. I apologize for our group's poor conduct. Thank you for your time.

Really enjoyed my stay — the service was excellent and everything was very well taken care of. Only small suggestion: it would be fantastic to have a wider variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes in the breakfast buffet, especially more options from international cuisines rather than mainly Asian-style vegetarian choices. Overall, highly recommended!

Great hotel! Big rooms. Breakfast is excellent buffet style. Their food taste great. They serve very good coffee. Must try! They have pool and gym. Guest can spend time outside by the sea. It has massage place near as well as convenience store nearby. The only drawback i see it is far from the activities/great beach. It has a casino inside. Also a convenience store (cash only) Stayed at Wyndham Danang Golden Bay and had a great experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered beautiful views of the city and bay. The highlight was the rooftop infinity pool with its stunning panoramic scenery. Staff were professional, friendly, and very accommodating. Breakfast had a wide variety and good quality. Overall, a comfortable and memorable stay in Da Nang.

It's far from everything in a way that you have to use grab to go anywhere cause there's nothing around to go walking. But grab is very accessible and the view is very nice. Sometimes there's some weird fishy smell in the air, but it's rare. Some rooms smell like cigarettes smoke when you walk past them. The worst part it's when it gets in your room.

This was a birthday trip that we were looking forward to, but we were underwhelmed again and again for a 5 star hotel. Room was ok, view was mostly towards the sea which was great, so I wouldn’t comment much on the room. Prior to our stay, I had email exchanges with gentle requests for 2 towel squirrels and a towel cake on the bed, even providing video tutorials of how these could be made. They said housekeeping was informed so it’s no problem, so I was really looking forward to my partner getting surprised by it. When we opened the room, they missed out on the towel squirrels (meaning one of the birthday surprise was not materialized), but since they still did a towel cake, I did not think much about it. The bigger problem was miscommunication and lack of sincerity in service recovery. There was free afternoon tea included in our stay that we could utilise on any day of our stay at L29 rooftop bar or L3 breakfast area. We were told by the staff that due to an evening event on our check in day, if we wanted to have the afternoon tea at L29, we should do it the next day. We doublechecked with the lobby staff and confirmed that there’s no event on the next day so we could have afternoon tea on L29 (very much preferred for the view and much better ambience). We then proceeded to carve out time for the afternoon tea in our itinerary the next day. When we tried to go for afternoon tea at L29 the next day, we were directed to L3 because there was an event too. It was rather odd because we were told otherwise on the previous day. This caused GREAT inconvenience because if we had known this, we would have done our third day’s itinerary on the second day instead and we were only in Danang for 3 days. Long story short, they offered to do it as a room service instead. We were not too keen at first, but agreed since our room view was better than L3. We also requested for 2 extra bottles of water as we were running out. When the room service came, it was beyond underwhelming and we were utterly disappointed. There was no effort to make it an enjoyable experience for us. As our room only had 1 chair, we had to request for another chair. We also requested for a table, but was told that it’s not possible, so we ended up having to eat it facing the wall, since the balcony only had 1 chair, a very short table and was quite crammed for 2 pax to be eating there together. Either way, the presentation for our afternoon tea was so lackluster and it was shocking that our beverages were served in takeaway cups? As if that was not bad enough, we got a call from front desk that “housekeeping had already replenished 2 bottles of water for the day, so requesting of 2 extra bottles would be chargeable at xxx vnd”. Wow, does that mean the inconvenience caused wasn’t even worth compensation of 2 bottles of mineral water? For a 5 star hotel? It really left a very bad taste for their attempt at service recovery, or the lack thereof. It felt like extra salt on wound after we browsed some other Google reviews with beautiful afternoon tea room service set up. Did they really cared about the guests’ experience at their hotel? Because we felt no form of sincerity/remorse/professionalism to reduce the inconvenience caused by them. When checking out on the last day, the lobby staff told us to wait aside first, and will inform in 5-10 mins when their housekeeping checked our room for damages etc. However, there were other guests that came after us and very promptly checked out and moved on with their day. We had to check back at 10 and 15min mark ourselves and only when I approached at the 15min mark, was told that all’s good. Zero initiative to come and inform us at where they told us to sit? Overall, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others. We had good experience with Wyndham hotels in the past and hence we booked this place for our stay despite the poor location and distance from everything else, with not much amenities nearby. It could be a once off thing, but nevertheless it left a bad note. Safe to say, hard no for future stays.
