Lavencos Hotel My Khe Beach Da Nang

The hotel and staff are lovely. Rooms are in good condition and pretty clean (although may need to clean shower more). And it would be great to have clean windows to properly see that sea view :) We had to book different room types during our stay and staff made the process of moving from one room to another smooth. We stayed in both city view and sea view rooms. Personally, I liked city view more as you still see a bit sea while sitting on the bed, and room itself is more spacious and has natural light in the bathroom because of transparent Bear in mind that there is no bathtub in sea view rooms, I was said that it’s only in city view ones. Breakfast is pretty rich, WiFi works fine. On the top floor there is a steam room, sauna and pool. For some reasons sauna wasn’t as hot as I would like it to be but for those who don’t like very hot it’s better. Gym is not good, nothing to use. Apart from those everything was nice and great to use in hotel. The pool is cold in winter but pretty refreshing :)

Title: Clean and well-located, but fails on almost every other promise. ​While this hotel boasts a central location and is notably clean throughout, it unfortunately misses the mark on basic comfort and advertised amenities. ​The Room & Bathroom ​The rooms are a decent size, but our "view" was simply the brick wall of the adjacent building. The bathroom situation was particularly baffling. Instead of a functional shower, they squeezed in an extremely tiny bathtub. It was too small for even one adult to bathe comfortably, let alone the romantic two-person soak we had hoped for. ​Facilities (The Biggest Letdown) ​We specifically chose this hotel for the gym and sauna, which turned out to be a major mistake: ​The Gym: Tiny, with dated equipment. Half of the machines were out of order. ​The Sauna: It isn't kept on. We waited 45 minutes for it to heat up before eventually giving up and leaving. ​The Pool: Very small and the water was uncomfortably cold. ​Final Thoughts ​Breakfast was "okay," but nothing to write home about. ​The Bottom Line: If you literally only need a clean place to lay your head and nothing else, this hotel works. If you are looking for a leisure experience, functional facilities, or a view, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

The location is unbeatable. Our accommodation was clean, and we appreciated having a room with a direct sea view. The highlight is rooftop which provides truly spectacular, panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape, it had a small pool as well. ​Despite these positives, the overall service experience was disappointing, leading me to assign a lower score. Please be alert and check your room properly, they charge extra if they see anything different from the room you entered while cleaning or checking out. I was okay with the additional charges but really hard to take the blame and their reasoning. I couldn't explain much because I didn't have any proof. I didn't click the pictures of sheets and towels before. ( And by the way, who does this? I never did this before) I was particularly offended when a staff member stereotyped and generalized a statement concerning Indian rituals, and practices, demonstrating a lack of cultural sensitivity. I believe they should not weigh-in all on same scale If they don't have full knowledge about it. I hope this will be taken care off. Overall it's recommended but be careful and take precautionary measures to get rid of blame and extra charges.

The hotel has a great location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, you can hear noise from neighboring rooms and from outside. The free breakfast is a nice inclusion, although the menu tends to be the same each day.

When it says sea view, that's the name of the hotel not what you get. Room was looking at a wall 3' away. The staff however were amazing and more than made up for it. Good breakfast buffet also
