CHILALA BOUTIQUE HOTEL & APARTMENT DA NANG

Overall was an okay experience, the staff were kind. Didn’t feel very welcoming, but it was very cheap so didn’t have high expectations. The room was clean enough, not spotless but it felt clean. However it did smell of cigarettes everywhere - even though it says no smoking in the room and hallway. No windows either - which we did know but still makes it so dark. There were glazed windows into the hallway from our room which would make the hall light turn on anytime we moved about the room which was incredibly annoying for sleeping.

Unfortunately not a good experience, at least with our room. Room is called superior double room - which doesn’t sound like what we saw in practice We got a room without window, but worst of all it was smelling like people smoked there non-stop Air it out was impossible and after 1 night our throats were all irritated and in pain.

Upon arrival, we were given a different room than we had booked. This change would have been okay, but the change was to a smaller room with different amenities, lacking ones we needed. The biggest issue was the room we were provided was under construction and very dirty. There were multiple things leaking and the electrical panel was buzzing at all times. These issues were voiced to the staff and some things were addressed. We checked out early due to the inhabitable condition of the room and not meeting our needs.

Good luck sleeping in the property. They have emergency lights directly opposite windows in rooms so you cannot sleep.

Location of the hotel is great. Furniture in the rooms looks new and is nice. But when I came to the first room, there was terrible smell of the cigarettes, so I asked staff to change my room. She gave me different room, but there was huge mold and the smell of mold was strong and she asked if that is ok 😀. Finally 3th room was the best option. But still could smell cigarettes. In the room without windows it was really bad. Breakfast was fine but I got different breakfast which I didn't order....
