Awaken Danang Hotel

This is a relatively new 5-star hotel with a very good location, close to a palm-lined beach and with many restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is very comfortable, and there are two sets of pillows to choose from. The bathroom is clean and well equipped, with both a bathtub and a shower. Housekeeping is done daily, and you receive two 0.5L bottles of water every day. The hotel offers one of the most beautiful ocean views we have ever had, which made the stay even more special. The spa was slightly disappointing. It was okay, but it didn’t fully meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The infinity pool is clean and very enjoyable, and the rooftop restaurant is beautiful and elegant, with impeccable service. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a great choice, especially because of the location, comfort, and stunning ocean view.

New hotel. Decently priced with good views and convenient location next to the beach. Nothing to really complain about. The room was much more spacious than I expected. The service from the doormen and the rooftop restaurant was good. I was hesitant to book this place after reading a lot of complaints about noise in the reviews. Personally I didn't have any issues with that. Maybe the lower floors would experience that?

We stayed at Awaken Hotel for 6 nights, and it was a great experience overall. The hotel is right on the beach, so the location couldn’t be better. The building is modern, very clean and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax during our stay. At check‑in they take a small deposit, which is completely normal. When checking out, they quickly look over the room, and if everything is fine, they refund the deposit without any problem. The staff were all super friendly, polite and genuinely helpful. You can really feel that they care about their guests. Breakfast was excellent — very generous and with lots of choices. There are mainly Asian dishes, but as Europeans we still found plenty of options every morning. Our room was cleaned daily, and the towels were replaced every day too. The view from the room was beautiful. The restaurant on the 25th floor is also worth visiting. It has a great view of the road running along the beach, especially in the evening when the lights come on. The food is tasty and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Overall, Awaken Hotel was a fantastic place to stay: clean, comfortable, with great staff and an unbeatable location. We’d happily come back.

I would recommend this hotel if it were cheaper and listed as 3 or 4 stars but this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The hotel has almost no amenities included, you have to pay for everything extra. The sauna you have to pay for and the gym is small. 2 days in a row the coffee downstairs was out of takeaway cups. The staff is super nice but there’s actual 5 star hotels in Da Nang that are a better value with more amenities.

Easily the best stay of our entire Vietnam trip..!! We visited first week of Jan & Danang weather was so good with light occasional drizlle. If we visit Danang again, we will definitely stay in Awaken Danang only.. !! Room - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Staff - 5/5 Location - 5/5 Facilities - 5/5 Rooms were top notch, we stayed in the 20th floor with a great view into the ocean from our balcony, it was a treat to the eyes. The panoromic view from the terrace rooftop restaurant was just amazing covering the entire stretch from SonTra peninsula to Mykhe beach on one side & the city view with Han river in the backdrop on other side was picture perfect. Beach access is just a walk across the road. Location is quite close to MyKhe Beach. Most of travel operators pick you up from this hotel (accepted pick up point) for all your day trips you plan while in Danang. Buffet food had a wide spread & the restaurant staff were so warm & friendly - the vibe you get in business class hotels. We also dined in at their casa breeze restaurant for dinner & it was such a memorable night. Front Desk staff at the reception were also helpful for queries & support. Pool & Gym were in good condition & is an add on. Overall a recommended stay if you are in Danang..
